On Thursday night, The Los Angeles Lakers drafted Michigan State guard Max Christie with No. 35 overall pick in the second round. After he was selected, FS1’s Skip Bayless went on Twitter and took a shot at Russell Westbrook.
“Lakers acquire a 2nd-round pick, take Michigan State’s Max Christie, who shot only 32% from 3 last season. Perfect! He’ll fit right in with LeBron and Westbrick,” Bayless tweeted.
Russell Westbrook saw the post and threatened Skip on Twitter.
“Yoooo… watch your mouth,” Westbrook said. “Don’t say anything here you wouldn’t say to my face.”
Westbrook’s wife, Nina, also replied to this tweet from Bayless and called it “extremely hurtful.”
“It’s very disheartening that you would choose to continue to shame my family name,” she wrote. “Today was a really sad day my daughters and me. The fact that you can’t respect a simple request not to try to tarnish my family name is saddening and such a pile on. It’s extremely hurtful.”

Last season, Russell Westbrook’s wife, Nina Westbrook, called out Skip Bayless for blocking her on Twitter.
“I’m tired you..
“Skip Bayless calling my husband out of his name. It is extremely childish. That is my name as well, and many other peoples name. You’re disrespectful, and I’m extremely offended by your behavior. You should apologize.”
Bayless will likely never stop calling Westbrook by that name.
