Just one prior to announcing he had tested positive for the coronavirus, it has been reported that Russell Westbrook was partying it up poolside at Encore Beach Club at Wynn Las Vegas, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The Houston Rockets point guard reportedly hung out with friends that included the likes of former NFL running back Reggie Bush, fashion jeweler Greg Yuna, bodybuilders and trainers Mike Rashid and Valeriu Guto, and Wynn club host Jai Shaun White at the outdoor club on June 13th.
That group even posed for a picture as you see above.
One fan who was recently in Vegas even confirmed he saw Westbrook walking the strip.
“Russell Westbrook was walking the strip in Las Vegas with his entourage on Thursday morning……I was there, can confirm, couldn’t take a picture for obvious reasons……”

On Monday, Westbrook took to social media to announce he had tested positive for the coronavirus.
Wynn Las Vegas did not disclose personal information about their guests due to hotel policy:
“Any guest diagnosed with COVID-19 while visiting the resort is reported to the Southern Nevada Health District, which conducts community contact tracing,” the statement read. “Our internal contact tracing determines who in the resort the guest has had contact with and what areas they visited; relevant contacts are informed for testing and the areas visited are thoroughly sanitized.”
Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni reacted to the Westbrook news:
“He said what he said, and that’s what we’re dealing with,” said D’Antoni, according to Michael C. Wright of NBA.com. “A lot of teams are dealing with it, but we’re getting through it as a team.”
