It’s been nearly a decade since Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook separated from the Oklahoma City Thunder, but it remains a special moment to see the former teammates face each other with their new teams.

When Durant first left OKC, things between them were rather spicy. It has cooled down in recent years as the two future Hall-of-Famers appeared to put their issues in the past.
Their trash talk also seems to have shifted to being on the friendly, competitive side as well.
A recent game between them showed some heavy trash talk between them but it does not appear to be laced with any ill will towards one another despite how harsh it was.

As for their performances in Monday’s game, both played well in their opportunities given. Westbrook only played 15 minutes and converted on three-of-six field goals, and hit all three of his free throw attempts for nine points. He had an all-around game as he picked up seven assists and two steals.
Durant hit 10-of-17 shots for 30 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
The Los Angeles Clippers beat the Phoenix Suns 138-111.
