Trade rumors may be swirling about Russell Westbrook, but that hasn’t stopped him from making a big move.
According to Darren Rovell, Petra Ecclestone sold her home in Brentwood to the Lakers guard for $37 million. The house is directly across the street from James.
She came out on top as she got $14 million more for the house than what she originally bought it for.
Westbrook is a free agent after this year, but the Lakers could decide to bring him back if he has a strong campaign. So far, that is not happening.
Russell Westbrook has averaged an awful 10.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists in the first 3 games of this new season.
For now, the Lakers are desperately trying to secure their first victory which could come on Wednesday night against the Denver Nuggets.
