Is Ohio officer Nicolas Reardon suing LeBron James over what he posted?
Those are the rumors circulating the internet after the Los Angeles Lakers superstar took to Twitter to post and delete a picture of Columbus Police Officer Nicholas Reardon along with the ominous-sounding caption, “YOU’RE NEXT.”
The Ohio cop had just shot and killed 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant. US Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) accused LeBron of “inciting violence” against the cop with his “disgraceful and dangerous” tweet.
Rumors on the net are stating that the cop is allegedly suing him now.

According to the report from Hiphopoverload: “Nicholas Reardon family is now filing a lawsuit we are told to sue Lebron James for millions of dollars. The family is claiming that Lebrons celebrity status has now painted Nicholas Reardon as a villain and they fear for his life with all the death threats they have been getting.”
Hours later, James reckoned that he was a victim of people misinterpreting his message.
“I took the tweet down because its [sic] being used to create more hate,” he tweeted.
“This isn’t about one officer. it’s about the entire system and they always use our words to create more racism,” he said, saying he was “so damn tired of seeing Black people killed by police.”
“I am so desperate for more ACCOUNTABILITY,” he wrote.
Reardon was identified as the police officer who shot Bryant as she lunged with a knife at one of two girls she was brawling with. She later died at a local hospital.
