The Los Angeles Lakers are certainly open to trading just about everybody on the roster not named LeBron James in order for the franchise to get another top named player to put alongside Bron to capture a ring or a few more rings before he retires.
The latest NBA rumor floating around the league is that the Chicago Bulls are reportedly considering offering #7 pick in the draft to the Los Angeles Lakers for Lonzo Ball, according to Joe Cowley of The Chicago Sun-Times.
At the moment, the Lakers have no real reason to consider such a trade, since they already have the #4 pick and no other rookie in the NBA Draft outside out of Zion Williamson is expected to make a huge impact like him.
The other reason the Lakers might stray from this possible trade is the Lakers would need Ball on the roster if they are going to send packages to the Pelicans again in an effort to try and land Anthony Davis.
Now, if the Pelicans would like a player in the draft to loop with Ball, they could very well have the Bulls as a third team in such a trade.
In Ball’s two years in the league, he has shot 38 percent from the floor, 31.5 percent on three-pointers and 43.7 percent from the free-throw line.
