It might not seem like it right now, Rudy Gobert possibly saved the lives of thousands of people. Even though he acted like an idiot during the same week he tested positive for the coronavirus, his positive test likely made sure a lot more people do not contract the disease and many others won’t die from it.
On Sunday, the Utah Jazz center sent out a video to update his health and also send out a PSA to fans on how to further protect themselves from the virus.
On Satruday, Gobert announced he was giving $200,000 to Jazz arena workers who will miss out on working games at Vivint Smart Home Arena, where the Jazz play.
He will give $100,000 to families in Utah and Oklahoma affected by the virus.
