On Friday night in Houston, the New York Knicks came into the Toyota Center and decided they weren’t going to compete on this night.
Rockets held a 16-point lead after the first quarter and it only got worse as the night drew on.
By the end of the third quarter, the Rockets held a commanding 39-point lead as they were set to cruise to an easy victory.
The game was so out of hand at that point that viewers noticed the starters for the Rockets weren’t even on the bench in the 4th quarter. They left at some point and never returned.
During that fourth quarter, the Rockets had Rivers, Green, Clark, Faried, and Shumpert in the game with Chiozza and House on the bench.
