The Golden State Warriors have gained some distance from the Houston Rockets with their current five-game winning streak. After going on an 11-game winning streak, Houston moved to within half a game of Golden State for the 10th spot. However, after dropping two straight games, Houston is now three games behind the Warriors. Draymond Green gave a clutch performance in the last game.
He delivered a magnificent performance against the Spurs on Sunday. Even though he completed the box score, the Warriors won because of everything else. He did, after all, win the game against a guy a foot taller than him with a box out.
Green triumphed with grit, perseverance, and intelligence over a young, inexperienced, but undoubtedly excellent Spurs squad. Gregg Popovich, San Antonio’s coach, will surely use Green’s performance as an example in his talks on winning NBA games.
Draymond Green said that tomorrow game will be a great opportunity for him
In a recent video, Rockets forward Tari Eason publicly criticized the Warriors and stated that his team intended to overtake them in the standings. Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors forward, first answered on a podcast. Green said that tomorrow’s game will be a great opportunity for him.
“Why he would come out and make a video telling the Warriors to come out and play? Everybody in Houston had a heart attack when he did that. When you lose to a team in the playoffs when it matters the most… It’s tough to talk, because that’s what matters. [The Rockets] have lost a couple in a row… Tomorrow will be an opportunity to end their season, their playoff hopes.” Green said during the interview.
