It’s been almost two months since the Houston Rockets were eliminated in the second round by the Golden State Warriors and the team is still reeling from that loss.
Houston would lose two win-able games after Kevin Durant went down with an injury and it caused all hell to break loose in the weeks following as reports suggested the two biggest stars on the team were not seeing eye-to-eye.
One player who got the bulk of the blame was center Clint Capela, who told reporters that he wanted to face the Warriors, only to be taken completely out of the series by their defense.
Rockets fans reportedly took their anger to an extreme level, according to Kelly Iko of The Athletic.
“But the fans were even harder on him, calling for his head in trade talks and deeming his contract as a waste of money. His Range Rover was vandalized in the days following Game 6, according to two people close to Capela with knowledge of the situation. The windows were broken, the side panels ripped apart and the outside of the vehicle keyed and scratched.”
Capela averaged 8.8 points and 10.0 rebounds in the six-game series. Although he shot 53.5 percent from the field, he had a negative plus/minus box score in four out of the six games.
The Rockets signed Capela to a lucrative $90 million deal last offseason, and he is scheduled to make $14.9 million next season.

The team reportedly had a mystery team willing to trade for him last week, but they would only pull the trigger if they knew they could acquire Jimmy Butler.
As you know, Butler took his talents to the Miami Heat.
Whether he lives up to his contract or not, there is no need to take things this far and purposely destroy someone’s property.
Houston Texans fans were said to harass former Texans quarterback Matt Schaub at his home back in 2013 after he kept throwing interceptions every week. This is a fan base that does not play about their favorite teams.
