It’s that time of the year where NBA trade rumors are starting to take on a mind of their own. The latest rumor suggests a potential blockbuster trade between the Houston Rockets and Brooklyn Nets.
The Rockets are rumored to be moving on Russell Westbrook, who requested a trade, but it appears that his teammate might be shown the door.
NBA writer Farbod Esnaashari is hearing the Rockets are talking with the Brooklyn Nets about a blockbuster trade that would send the Beard to the Nets for a variation of Spencer Dinwiddie, Caris LeVert, Taurean Prince and Jarrett Allen in return.
That’s really hard to believe considering how valuable Harden is at this stage of his career. Multiple draft picks would have to be added to this deal to have it make any type of sense. Even with that, it’s still unlikely to happen.
A lineup featuring Harden, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving could be unstoppable and easily propel the team to one of the best in the Eastern Conference.
