It’s amazing how drug tests in professional sports seem to show up right when a player starts playing insanely good.
Such seems to be the case for Robert Covington.
The Houston Rockets player was in the midst of a 4-game stretch where he blocked 11 shots on the defensive end and promptly got drug tested soon after.
Covington is averaging 12.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1 steal, and 3.8 blocks per game on 35.4% shooting.
That’s not even counting the current game on Wednesday against the Grizzlies where he has 10 points, 5 rebs, 1 assist and 3 blocks.
