Former NBA forward Richard Jefferson still features on television as he works for ESPN nowadays. But fans probably wished he stayed home on Monday after he showed up on the day’s NBA Today wearing an outfit that left them in shock.
The NBA champion wore what appeared to be some classy leather shoes that were exposed as open-heeled slippers from another angle while he discussed former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate LeBron James’ career numbers with the Nos. 23 and 6 on the back of his jersey.
Jefferson wouldn’t have gotten such a reaction had he been behind a desk as he wore a white shirt under a grey blazer with black pants. His shoes, though, had some fans in stitches, with some of them calling for Malika Andrews to do something about his appearance.

Jefferson always finds a way to grab viewers’ attention whenever he appears on ESPN’s shows. He did that with the shoes on Monday, but he typically uses employs quips.
