The situation involving Jimmy Butler continues to intensify, with no signs of reaching a conclusion. Butler, who is currently playing for the Miami Heat, made his intentions clear about leaving the team. Slapped with three suspensions in a short time, Butler’s relationship with the Heat has deteriorated significantly. Meanwhile, as per Butler, he was keenly interested in playing for the Western Conference heavyweights, the Phoenix Suns.
For a while, the Suns, too, seemed quite interested in landing an offer for Butler. Unfortunately, if recent reports are to be believed, then the Suns’ long pursuit of acquiring Butler’s services might be coming to an end. According to a report from Brett Siegel from ClutchPoints, the Phoenix Suns are seemingly getting disinterested about a possible Jimmy Butler deal.
“There has been some chatter since last night of the Suns pulling away from Jimmy Butler trade talks and focusing on improving their roster by moving Jusuf Nurkic. Hawks’ Bogdan Bogdanovic is one name that keeps coming up in conversations,” Siegel wrote on X.

Now then, a key factor for the Suns’ reluctance has been cited as Bradley Beal’s ‘no-trade’ clause. While there have been mixed reports on whether or not Beal would allow the waiver, it seems that things are stagnant as of now. Meanwhile, Butler is now in deep waters and being trolled openly on the internet.
DoorDash Trolls Jimmy Butler
The Jimmy Butler-Miami Heat fiasco has been going on for a while. And while things are nowhere to be resolved, Butler is being taken a dig at openly online. In a recent post on X, the food delivery giant DoorDash mocked Butler’s situation and offered him a free subscription.
“Now that you’re unemployed, let us know if you need a free DashPass subscription. The extra savings will come in handy,” read the post from the company’s official handle.
