At this point, the entire country only knows Tristan Thompson for what he does with women and nothing about his NBA career. You likely have no idea what team he even plays for without googling it. That is how irrelevant his career has become since he was first caught cheating on Khloe Kardashian.
The NBA player “has done nothing” to support his 2-month-old son with Maralee Nichols, the woman he recently denied impregnating before the it was proven to be true.
“Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support his son,” Nichols’ rep, Harvey Englander, said in a statement to Page Six.
“He has not made any attempt to meet their son nor has he provided any financial assistance.”
On top of that news is the fact that he is paying upwards of $120K a monthy already for all the kids he currently has by different women.
“It’s not unsurprising that this has become an expensive reality for the former NBA champion with the Cavs. Thompson “could be potentially paying a cumulative $120,000 in monthly child support.” For those who need a refresher, Thompson has “5-year-old Prince with Jordan Craig, 3-year-old True Thompson with Khloé Kardashian, and newborn son Angelou Kash Thompson with Maralee Nichols.”
The Sun spoke with family law attorney Bryan Koneski who calculated Thompson is paying roughly $40,000 per child.
“He is paying out the nose for these kids!”
“With his base salary, his take-home is probably about half, so let’s say $5 million. Now reduce that by $1.5 million. Paying $40,000 per child per month, that is $1.5 million annually in child support.”
Koneski continued, “If he is paying $40,000 to Maralee and Jordan he is doing the same for Khloé. He wouldn’t have been able to get it reduced because she is worth more.”

The NBA star admitted to fathering Nichols’ baby in early January after a DNA test provided the truth.
“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” Thompson wrote on an Instagram Story at the time. “I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.”
He continued, “I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both privately and publicly.”
37-year-old Khloe revealed last June that she dumped the NBA player and has never acknowledged Thompson’s latest infidelity.
Thompson, selected by Cleveland out of Texas in the 2011 NBA Draft, played nine seasons for the Cavaliers. He averaged 9.4 points and 8.7 rebounds per game with the team. He was on the 2016 team that won an NBA title.
