The New York Knicks fan base aren’t the only ones that will be sad this offseason.
As was the case at the February trade deadline, the New Orleans Pelicans reportedly remain uninterested in trading Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Following Tuesday’s drawing, the Lakers now hold the #4 pick in the NBA Draft, while the Pelicans have the #1 overall Draft pick.
If the Pelicans end up changing their mind, the Lakers will likely send a package to them that includes Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram in an effort to get Davis from the Pels.
However, the Pelicans likely waited until the offseason so they could get package deals from the Boston Celtics and now the New York Knicks, who have the #3 overall pick in the Draft.
