The Los Angeles Lakers are trying to throw everything they can to the New Orleans Pelicans in order to take Anthony Davis off their hands. So far, the Pelicans are not budging.
The main assets the Lakers have to offer are Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart, and all their own future first-round picks. Unfortunately, that is reportedly still not enough.
From what I know, from sources have told me, the Pelicans are not interested. They’re not interested in any of it. They’re not interested in two first-round picks and all four young players. They don’t like the Lakers’ offer.
It is no secret that everybody on the Lakers roster is on the trading block, except for LeBron James.
What the Lakers are reportedly offering is damn good, but since the Pelicans front office knows how much they want Davis, they are likely trying to bleed them for as much as possible to keep the Pelicans franchise afloat as they get set to dive into rebuild mode.
