Indiana Pacers made a comeback in the conference semifinals against the New York Knicks with an impressive 116-103 win in game 6. The Pacers have now leveled the series and forced game 7. Pascal Siakam was the star for the Pacers as he finished with 25 points and seven rebounds to help his side register a crucial win.
Myles Turner (17 points and eight rebounds) and Jalen Brunson (31 points and five assists) also played crucial roles.
Pascal Siakam Ready for Game 7
During the post-game interview, Siakam, opened up about his mindset for the deciding game of the series. The 30-year-old player stated that both teams are doing their best, and whoever deserves the most will win the series.
Reporter: What is so different about game seven from any other game you have played in the series?
“Both teams are going to play hard. It’s gonna be hard, lot of things just gonna happen, and I think as long as you just gonna stay focused within the game and just play with the energy… the hardest-playing team usually wins those games“, Pascal responded after being asked about the deciding game on Sunday.
To win on Sunday at Madison Square Garden, the Pacers will need more skills, teamwork, and better coordination than in any other playoff game this year.
