Landry Shamet joined the Knicks on September 14, 2024. However, his time with the team was short-lived as he was waived by the Knicks on October 19, 2024. In a strategic decision to fill the gap created by Shamet’s departure, signing Marcus Morris Sr. and Lonnie Walker IV could be an impressive move for the Knicks.

Donte DiVincenzo joined the Minnesota Timberwolves in the offseason after playing one season with the Knicks. During a recent preseason matchup between the Timberwolves and the Knicks, DiVincenzo had some heated moments with Brunson’s dad. In light of this, star player Brunson shared his honest opinion in a recent interview with The Roommates Show.
“I feel like we have to talk about it, you know, families fight. Things are said. I mean sh*t should have been handled better on both sides but everyone thinks the world’s crumbling. I also feel like it (the trade) happened a week and a half ago and all of a sudden we’re playing them. That never really happens.” Brunson said.
