For anyone that regularly follows the NBA, it is no surprise that superstar guard James Harden has had a tumultous tenure so far with his current team, the Philadelphia 76ers. Recently, new details have surfaced about the toxic relationship Harden had with former head coach Doc Rivers as well as president of basketball operations Daryl Morey.

Doc Rivers was eventually fired after Philadelphia lost in Game 7 to the Boston Celtics in last years Eastern Conference Semifinal, however, Harden still appears to want out of Philly. After opting in to his player option for 2023-24, worth $35.6 million, he immediately requested a trade.
After trade talks with the Clippers broke down, Harden was frustrated and took a shot at Morey. While appaearing at a press event for Adidas in China, the beard was quoted as saying:
“Let me say that again: Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be part of an organization that he’s a part of.”
Harden was fined $100,000 by the NBA for his comments towards Morey. It is still not certain if Harden will be attending 76ers training camp which will begin later this month.
