Could the Jimmy Butler era in Miami be coming to an end?
The Miami Heat’s championship window is seemingly closed, and the team may consider parting ways with its superstar.
Butler has led the Miami Heat to two appearances in the NBA finals (2020 and 2023). However, it has produced two Finals losses.
There’s a reality where Jimmy Butler is not a member of the Miami Heat past February 2025.
Now, a new team is emerging for his services.
Bovada Official, a sportsbook site, has the Brooklyn Nets as the overwhelming favorites to land Jimmy Butler in a trade.
Next on the list is the Los Angeles Lakers, then the Clippers to round out the top-three.

The other teams on the list to get Butler are the New York Knicks, Houston Rockets, Orlando Magic, Denver Nuggets, and the Milwaukee Bucks.
As of right now, Butler is hobbled after he injured his ankle against the Denver Nuggets, putting Miami in a position where they have to play without him in the lineup.
The team is under .500 and fading fast in an Eastern Conference that only has two exceptional teams and a third good team.
