It looks like Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets are headed for a divorce.
On Monday morning, it was reported that both sides are at an impasse about his future and two teams are emerging as potential suitors.
Via the report:
“Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets are currently at a standstill in talks about his future, multiple sources tell The Athletic, clearing the way for the seven-time NBA All-Star to enter the open marketplace.”
The report adds that the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, and LA Clippers are expected to be among the interested suitors if Irving becomes available.

Last season, Irving averaged 27.4 points and 5.8 assists last season in 29 regular season games.
The Celtics swept the Nets in the first round en route to their NBA Finals appearance.
