The Los Angeles Lakers seem to be ready to make a huge move, even if that means moving a key piece of the team. The Lakers “have shown a recent willingness” to listen to trade offers for forward Kyle Kuzma, sources told The Athletic’s Sam Amick.
Kuzma found himself removed from the Lakers’ starting lineup this season following the team acquiring Anthony Davis via trade from the New Orleans Pelicans.
His numbers are down this season because of that as he is averaging 12.1 points and 3.5 rebounds per game after averaging 18.7 points and 5.5 rebounds last season.
If the Lakers sign Davis to an extension after the season, Kuzma will be remaining in a sixth man role for the foreseeable future.
Kuzma, who will be eligible for a contract extension this summer, is making less than $2 million this season.
