LeBron James has the type of money and celebrity status that can allow him to do whatever he wants in his lifetime. Apparently, that means running for the highest office in the United States.
‘Someone close’ to the Los Angeles Lakers superstar reportedly told Skip Bayless that he has seriously considered running for President of the United States someday.
“It’s a plan of his but not yet a goal,” the source said.
That topic was brought to LeBron’s attention by Sports Illustrated and he denied any interest in doing such a thing.
“But James made it clear that he’s not willing to do that at the highest level when asked if he’d consider running for president of the United States at Lakers’ practice Thursday.
“No, I’m not considering it,” James said.”
As we’ve seen already, having the slightest bit of controversy surrounding your name will not deter a large portion of the country from voting for you.
