The Los Angeles Lakers went into this offseason ready to bring LeBron James some help and that’s exactly what they did when they traded for Anthony Davis.
The team wanted him to know they would do anything to bring top talent aboard, which is why they are still in the running to try and sign Kawhi Leonard.
When it comes to LeBron’s former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Kyrie Irving, the Lakers are said to be “swinging for the fences” in an attempt to lure him from the Brooklyn Nets and sign him.
The duo of LeBron and Kyrie went to 4-straight NBA Finals together, winning the 2016 title after being down 3-1 to the Golden State Warriors.
