We’re still over a month away from the start of free agency and rumors are getting louder and louder as to where every big name free agent might end up.
It is widely speculated that Kyrie Irving is definitely on his way out of Boston and he seems to have narrowed his search down to less than a handful of teams, according to Ric Bucher.
Here’s what Bucher told FS1’s Colin Cowherd on Tuesday:
“The latest that I’ve heard is that it’s between Brooklyn and the Lakers.” In regards to Kobe Bryant’s involvement, Bucher adds, “Kobe indicated to me that he was not involved, that he was, ‘hey that’s their deal, I’m not part of it.’ But I was told in the last 24 hours, Kobe has been busy recruiting Kyrie, in particular, to try to get him to the Lakers.”
Bucher also believes the 27-year old will end up in Brooklyn.
That would be an unexpected twist that no one saw coming if that were to happen.
