One season into the LeBron experiment and the Lakers are needing a change already.
Aside from the team going after Anthony Davis in the offseason in what looks to be a complete overhaul of the entire roster in order to do so, the team has seemingly spotted who their next head coaching candidate will be.
The Los Angeles Lakers will consider Jason Kidd a serious candidate to be their next head coach if Luke Walton is fired, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
On top of being a candidate for the Lakers potential position, Kidd’s name has also came up in regards to taking over as head coach at Cal, a source told ESPN’s Marc J. Spears.
There is a strong belief within NBA coaching circles that Walton will “almost certainly” be fired after a disappointing season in year one with LeBron James.
