Jimmy Butler has made it clear that he does not want to continue with the Miami Heat. After having significant tensions brewing between the two, the relationship seems beyond repair at the moment. Butler has already faced suspension three times from the Heat. Yet, there has been no indication of what will be the future of the 35-year-old in the NBA. Recently, a surprising piece of news has surfaced that has made the Jimmy Butler saga even more complicated.
There were reports circulating about Butler that the Golden State Warriors were considering a possible trade with the Heat superstar. Looking at the Warriors’ sorry state this season, the inclusion of Butler looked like a wise move. Playing alongside Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, Butler could have steadied the Warriors’ ship. But as per Brian Windhorst, Butler has denied a possible chance to swap his jersey for the Golden State Warriors.

Meanwhile, as Butler’s relationship with Heat has deteriorated significantly, he recently clarified his love for Miami city.

Jimmy Butler does not have anything against the beautiful city of Miami. While he might be at war with his team, Butler clarified that his love for the city is unconditional. The 35-year-old also stated that he is immensely grateful to its people for showering him with so much love and affection.
Recently, the Heat’s forward was asked to comment on the ongoing saga. While he sidestepped the question, Butler said, “The absolute most, I love this city with everything that I have. I’m so glad that I get to be around so many incredible people. Friends and family that are here. This city deserves everything. It deserves everything that I don’t know what to do for it.”
Jimmy Butler didn’t answer specific questions tonight on his suspension or his Heat future, but he did tell officials at Padel tournament on Miami Beach:
