The Golden State Warriors are in some serious turmoil this season. After losing a tantalizingly close Christmas day game against the Lakers, the GSW is here for another major setback. Ahead of their game against the Clippers, the Warriors stated that star prospect, Stephen Curry will miss out on Friday’s game.
The reason for his absence was cited as knee tendinitis. Curry is believed to have incurred the injury while playing against the Lakers. “Steph Curry will not play in Los Angeles against the Clippers tomorrow night. Managing his knee tendinitis on the front side of a back-to-back. Warriors are at home vs Clippers on Saturday night. Draymond Green is questionable vs Clippers,” Anthony Slater on X posted.

With the Warriors struggling significantly, they would want their best possible starting lineup to feature in every game. Unfortunately, that will not be the case on Friday. Curry missing out will also mean that the much-awaited duel between him and a returning Kawhi Leonard will not come to fruition. Meanwhile, amidst his team’s sorry performance, Curry had a friendly warning to his defenders.
Stephen Curry Warns His Young Teammates
The Golden State Warriors are going through a lean phase this season. They are languishing in the 10th position in the Western Conference and have a win-loss record of 15-14. While playing against the Minnesota Timberwolves recently, Curry was unhappy with Brandin Podziemski missing an easy layup.
Steph Curry: “Anybody who plays with me has to play decisive and confident. You’re okay with the mistakes as long as they’re done with the mindset of being aggressive. I’m cool with that.”

Infuriated by the miss, Curry issued a warning to his teammates. “Anybody who plays with me has to play decisive and confident. You’re okay with the mistakes as long as they’re done with the mindset of being aggressive,” Curry stated. Thus, with the Golden State Warriors’ season not going as planned, it remains to be seen whether they can bounce back or not.
