“The Nets must gauge if Antetokounmpo — whom The Post has reported is still their white whale — will ever become available, and if they’re prepared to wait. Brooklyn is still holding out for Giannis,” Lewis wrote in his recent reports.

According to Lewis, the Nets are more interested in pursuing Giannis Antetokounmpo than De’Aaron Fox or Jimmy Butler. Antetokounmpo is widely regarded as one of the greatest power forwards and players in basketball history. He recently stated that he always strives to play hard against every opponent.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Dominates Portland Trail Blazers In Recent Outing
The Bucks recently played the Portland Trail Blazers in an exciting game at the Moda Center. Antetokounmpo delivered a stellar performance, recording a double-double with 39 points, five assists, and 12 rebounds in just 36 minutes of play.
Bucks guard Damian Lillard also contributed significantly, scoring 20 points, along with six assists and three rebounds. Unfortunately, their efforts weren’t enough to secure a victory. The Blazers won the game with a final score of 125-112.

The Bucks are currently in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings, with a record of 26 wins and 19 losses in the 2024-25 NBA season. Antetokounmpo has played 39 games this season and is averaging 31.7 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game. The Bucks will play their next game against the San Antonio Spurs at the AT&T Center.
