On Wednesday, the Boston Celtics announced that Danny Ainge suffered a mild heart attack in Milwaukee on Tuesday night.

Danny Ainge suffered a mild heart attack in Milwaukee on Tuesday night. He received immediate medical attention and is expected to make a full recovery. He will return to Boston shortly. Further updates will be provided as appropriate.

The president of basketball operations received immediate medical attention and is expected to make a full recovery.

The 60-year-old has held his current position with the club since May 2003 and played the majority of his 14 NBA seasons in Boston, winning a pair of NBA championships in six Finals appearances.

Celtics will be back in Boston playing the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals matchup.
