One thing is clear, if the Toronto Raptors want to see Kevin Durant in their uniform for the next few years, they are going to have to part ways with a young star player.
The Brooklyn Nets wouldn’t consider trading superstar Kevin Durant to the Toronto Raptors unless the deal included Scottie Barnes, Adrian Wojnarowski reported Monday on ESPN’s “Get Up.”
The Nets continue to search for trade offers, Wojnarowski said, but the market is not nearly as robust as expected.
“The trade scenarios out there are still complex,” Wojnarowski added.
Toronto has so far shown no interest in trading Barnes who is coming off a Rookie of the Year campaign and whose salary is so small that it would require the Raptors to add multiple other players to make the salaries match.

Brooklyn has been fielding offers for Durant since the former MVP requested a trade in June. He reportedly listed the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat as ideal destinations.
For now, it’s looking like Durant might be stuck in Brooklyn unless a team is willing to give away multiple players and a ton of draft capital.
