Anthony Davis has his mind made up and it ends with him being part of the Los Angeles Lakers franchise.
Earlier this week, his agent, Rich Paul, informed the New Orleans Pelicans that he wanted to be traded and later stated they would be informing teams around the league that he would not re-sign’ there if they trade for him because he wants to be in L.A. with LeBron.
The Boston Celtics, however, were still convinced they had a shot at nabbing him before their hated rival does, but Davis has put the nail in the coffin of that thought process.
Double bad news for the Celtics on Friday as star point guard Kyrie Irving backtracked on his original comments of re-signing with the team and now looks dead set in leaving in free agency.
