The Philadelphia 76ers’ championship hopes may have taken a major hit, as it was announced today that All-Star guard Ben Simmons suffered a subluxation of the left knee cap, and is currently considering treatment options:
The injury occurred during Wednesday’s 107-98 win over the Wizards. After initial MRI results came back, it was believed by some that Simmons would be day-to-say, but that could change with tbhis latest news.
For now, Simmons is being ruled as “out,” with the 76ers’ next game set to take place on Friday against Orlando. Philly is 2-1 since entering the bubble for the NBA’s restart.
