Just hours before the start of Game 1 between the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors — NBA shows were showing off their experts picks for winners and how many games it will take to end the series.
Everybody waited for just one person to make their selection, because it meant that whomever Paul Pierce picked, the other team was definitely going to win.
He picked the Raptors in six.
While at the game, a bunch of Raptors fans noticed Pierce and likely saw his pick on social media. They greeted him with “Paul Pierce Sucks” chants as he egged them on to give him more.
That’s a good ol’ Canadian welcome for Pierce!
