Since joining the U.S. men’s basketball team camp, Steph Curry has been visibly enthusiastic. His excitement stole his fans’ hearts in moments like giving Joel Embiid a new nickname and sharing a wholesome moment with LeBron James.
After Team USA defeated Canada 86-72 in an exhibition game on Wednesday, Curry’s excitement soon stole the limelight. The Golden State Warriors star added to Team Canada’s woes with a triumphant game-winning pose.
As USA Basketball celebrated their exhibition win over Canada with “Not Like Us” playing on the Jumbotron, Curry’s humorous pose energized Team USA fans.
Curry’s last appearance for Team USA was at the 2014 FIBA World Cup. There he played a crucial role in winning the gold medal. With this potentially being his last Olympics, Curry is determined to give it his all. He contributed 12 points, dished out 3 assists, and made 3 three-pointers in Team USA’s victory over Canada.

“There’s very few players in the league who are not talked about in trade discussions. Steph Curry is not being talked about in trade talks. Everybody else is,” Kerr said.
Kerr mentioned the rarity of such a status, comparing it to other NBA superstars like LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.
“Everybody’s got maybe one or two guys who are off the table. So the vast majority of the players in the NBA are going to be discussed in trade talks because everyone’s trying to improve their team,” Kerr added.
