Mark Cuban responded hysterically to a fan who shared an old photo of the Dallas Mavericks minority owner posing without a shirt more than two decades ago.
X/Twitter user @redapples shared an old photo of a shredded and shirtless Mark Cuban holding a basketball in the Dallas Mavericks’ locker room, and the 66-year-old delivered a gold response.
Cuban claims that the photo took place when he was about a year into his Mavericks ownership (so around 2001). Cuban told @redapples that “old school NBA owners were not happy” with this photo:

Mark Cuban Has Cemented Himself As One Of The Greatest NBA Owners Ever
Cuban was well-known for being hands-on during his tenure as the Mavericks’ majority owner. While most hands-on owners end up doing far more harm than good for their team (Jerry Jones and David Tepper come to mind), Cuban usually knew what he was doing.
His success as a hands-on owner only helps Cuban’s legacy as one of the best NBA owners ever. Not only did he build a long-term winner in the Nowitzki era, but the Mavs have re-emerged as an annual contender with Luka Doncic.
Cuban’s bold decision to trade for Kyrie Irving last year helped Dallas return to the NBA Finals this year. He may only be fully in charge anymore, but Cuban did his part in helping the Mavs reform into a title contender during his final years as the owner.
