Recently, a social media post by Savage Philly Sports Media on Facebook reported that LeBron James, Josh Harris, Daryl Morey, and Nick Nurse were spotted at Sky High in Philly.
Having been spotted with the head coach, president of basketball operations, and managing partner of the Philadelphia 76ers clearly hints that James is considering joining the 76ers this summer. However, there’s no confirmation that it was James, but that was the initial belief, as rumors circulate that he might leave the Lakers.
After the Denver Nuggets eliminated the Los Angeles Lakers early from the playoffs, rumors sparked about whether King James would stay with the Lakers or seek a new team for the next season. The photo has sparked a debate on social media, as the star player’s future is one of the most hotly debated topics among fans and NBA analysts. However, due to the photo’s low resolution and lack of clarity, it is still unclear whether the man spotted in the white shirt and black cap is James.
King James, who has been playing for the Lakers since 2018, was previously rumored to be considering retirement; however, he later clarified in an interview that he wants to play with his son Bronny James in the NBA before retiring.
Sports Anchor Shuts Down LeBron James Speculation Next to Nick Nurse
Despite that photo has sparked hype among the fans about LeBron James’ decision for the Lakers, another person claims that he was not James but a former NBA player. The WIP Morning Show’s host, Spike Eskin, claimed that the person sitting with Nick Nurse, Harris, and Morey is not King James, but he is a former basketball player and the general manager of the 76ers, Elton Brand.
“The photo that the @WIPMorningShow is talking about with Daryl Morey is not him with LeBron. It is Daryl, Elton Brand, Nick Nurse, and Josh Harris at the Four Seasons, per a source with knowledge of the situation. I am 100% confident,” Eskin said.
