The Phoenix Suns are ushering in a new era and doing so in a big way by unveiling some new threads.
The Phoenix Suns just released new Nike Icon and Association edition uniforms for the upcoming NBA season.
“The sunburst is an iconic design that is one of the most popular among Suns fans; it represents some of the most defining moments in our team’s history,” said Phoenix Suns Chief Executive Officer Josh Bartelstein. “These new uniforms seamlessly blend the nostalgia of the past with the excitement of the future as we begin the next great era of Suns basketball.”
The Phoenix Suns are not only hoping to look good but also reward this look as they continue their chase of a first-ever NBA title with Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, and Deandre Ayton.
It is likely not a coincidence the jerseys bring memories back to one of the most successful squads in franchise history. For fans of a certain generation, the jerseys worn by Charles Barkley and the rest of the 1992-93 Suns gained iconic status.

Over the offseason, the Suns traded point guard Chris Paul to the Washington Wizards for Bradley Beal. In the deal, the Suns picked up Beal for Chris Paul, Landry Shamet, four future first-round pick swaps, and six future second-round picks.
Paul was not with the Wizards long, though. He was dealt to the Golden State Warriors for Jordan Poole, and Ryan Rollins, a second-round pick in 2027, and a protected first-round pick in 2030.
He may get a chance to get some revenge in the postseason when it is all said and done.
