The city of Philadelphia don’t want Ben Simmons just as much as he doesn’t want to play for the franchise any longer.
Thousands of fans showed him just how much they dislike him by chanting ‘fuck Ben Simmons’ during a taping of AEW Rampage.

Simmons’ camp met with the players union after he was fined roughly $360,000 for missing Monday’s game, and were told he could not get that money back, according to the Philly Voice. The 25-year-old is locked in a holdout with the 76ers after a rough offseason.
Simmons wasn’t present for the 123-107 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Monday and was fined roughly $360,000 for his absence. Simmons was supposed to make over $33 million this season, but this team has already withheld over $8 million with Simmons away from the team. Simmons signed a five-year, $177 million deal with the team in 2019.
Joel Embiid has went on record to state how much he wants him back, even being part of a group that was reportedly willing to fly to Los Angeles to meet with Simmons, but the upset star allegedly told them not to come.

His contract is an obstacle to move him, but it’s his value that is low after a miserable postseason series against the Atlanta Hawks where he came under fire for his refusal to shoot and his inability to make clutch free throws. Embiid and 76ers head coach Doc Rivers appeared to take shots at Simmons once the 76ers were eliminated and everything has been bad ever since.
He will continue to lose six figures with each missed game.
