This win marked their third consecutive victory and also ended the Lakers’ four-game winning streak.
With the win, the 76ers improved to an 18-27 record, placing them 11th in the Eastern Conference. On the other hand, the Lakers dropped to 26-19 for the season, holding steady in fifth place in the Western Conference.

Tyrese Maxey stole the show with a dominant performance, scoring 43 points on 15-of-26 shooting. He added three rebounds and two assists. It extended his streak of scoring 27+ points to 11 consecutive games. Maxey was on fire early, finishing the first half with 27 points, two steals, and 9-for-9 from the free-throw line. This was his eighth career 40-point game.

Alongside Maxey, Kelly Oubre Jr. contributed 20 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Ricky Council IV provided a spark off the bench with 16 points and seven rebounds, while Eric Gordon and Guerschon Yabusele each added 14 points.
The Lakers suffered a major setback when Anthony Davis left the game early with an abdominal strain. Davis played just 10 minutes, scoring four points before exiting. Without him, the Lakers struggled despite LeBron James’ 31-point, nine-assist effort.
Rookie Dalton Knecht was a bright spot in the loss. He dropped 24 points, while Austin Reaves contributed 13 points, eight assists, and six rebounds. Rookie Bronny James also saw playing time, logging 15 minutes but was held scoreless.
