Joel Embiid made a statement in his return to the Philadelphia 76ers lineup after missing 15 games due to foot and knee injuries. His presence immediately made an impact as he led the team to a 118-116 victory over the Dallas Mavericks at Wells Fargo Center. The win helped the 76ers bounce back after back-to-back losses against the Denver Nuggets and Boston Celtics.
Philadelphia now holds a 20-29 record, placing them 11th in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, the Mavericks share the same 11th position in the Western Conference with a 26-25 record.
