Tatum’s impact went beyond scoring. He was responsible for 18 of Boston’s 28 field goals in the second half through scoring or assists. In contrast, Philadelphia managed just 16 total field goals during the same stretch.
This game marked the second time in the past two weeks that both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown posted at least 20 points, seven rebounds, and six assists in the same game. Brown contributed 21 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists in Sunday’s win.
Kristaps Porzingis added 18 points, seven rebounds, and three assists, while Derrick White scored 17 points and nine assists, and Sam Hauser provided 12 points for crucial support.

Despite the loss, Tyrese Maxey was a bright spot for Philadelphia. He led all scorers with 34 points and six assists. Kelly Oubre Jr. chipped in 18 points and a game-high 13 rebounds, while Guerschon Yabusele provided 21 points.
The 76ers will look to bounce back against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, while the Celtics will face the Cleveland Cavaliers on the same night.
