The ongoing saga between Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers is just getting worse by the day.
Ben Simmons continues to show that he will not abide by the 76ers rules and try and force their hand to trade him out of there. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that Simmons arrived and departed from the Sixers facilities, describing ‘back tightness’ to medical staff, who cleared him to practice.
The 76ers are reportedly “livid” with the All-Star point guard, believing he is faking injury and mental illness to avoid playing.
“According to Sources, belief by #Sixers Ben Simmons is faking injury and mental illness. He came in 2day and said he had back stiffness and mentally not ready to play. Mental illness is serious issue and team is livid Simmons went down that road. Team plans to fine him every game,” Eskin wrote on Twitter.

The Aussie, who was kicked out of practice earlier this week and served a one-game suspension, departed training without participating on Friday, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Simmons is expected to report to the 76ers shootaround on Saturday where he will discuss his playingh status.
Following the chaos of Simmons’ practice outburst earlier in the week, Joel Embiid lashed out at his former friend.
Simmons acting this way is not going to get any team willing to drop a bunch of assets to trade for him. Instead, if you’re a team in the Eastern Conference, you let the chaos play out and destroy the team from the inside out until his value gets extremely low.
