It has been a rough 2019 so far for Lonzo Ball.
The Los Angeles Lakers star not only missed the majority of the 2018-2019 season, but the team would falter and completely miss the postseason without him on the floor.
On top of not being able top play, he also found out that Big Baller Brand co-founder Alan Foster allegedly stole millions from him in a embezzlement scheme that reportedly started as soon as his mother became ill.
Aside from covering up his Big Baller Brand tattoo and alluding to a move to Nike — Lonzo hasn’t really said much in the media about the situation.
That all changed when he appeared on LeBron’s “The Shop” on HBO where music mogul Pharrell Williams offered him some powerful advice:
“You know what I wanted to go back to when you said, ‘Man, it went all crumbling.’ I’m just telling you, the greatest things — the greatest things that are going to happen in your life are before you right now. And if that didn’t happen, you would’ve still stayed in that holding pattern.
“So, it’s not a crumble. If anything, this is Ground Zero. This is where you get to build it properly. Where you have a real, true foundation. Real, true friends. Real, true business partners. And the right frame of mind to build something that’s going to last.”

Pharrell also informed Lonzo that his dad, LaVar Ball, wasn’t wrong and referred to him as the “GOAT.”
