The Los Angeles Clippers haven’t felt this low since….2015, when they blew another 3-1 lead to the Rockets that prevented them from getting to the Conference Finals.
Despite a disappointing second-round exit in the playoffs, the Los Angeles Clippers reportedly aren’t expected to move on from head coach Doc Rivers.
Even still, the fan base is upset and seemingly have had enough of the franchise to the point that several petitions have been created to get rid of them
The first one is to send the league to the G-League.
It reads as: “We are trying to bring honor back to the NBA. The clippers have brought so much shame to this legendary League filled with historical franchises, epic players, coaches the list goes on and on! However one team that has failed to do anything, not even making it to one western conference finals game – with tons of potential and talent. Richest owner, two of the 10 best players in the league at times throughout the last 30 years, and the best coach in the NBA! They can’t do anything, they can’t even close out a series when they are up 3-1…. not once but TWICE”
The second one is to send the team back to San Diego, where they played from 1978–1984.

It reads as: “The Los Angeles Clippers have been a disgrace for decades and to think that they’re supposed to “rival” the Lakers is asinine. There’s not enough room for two teams in LA and it’s clear now more than ever that this city is just too big for the Clippers. Year after year they fail to meet expectations, so why should the championship-garnered Lakers share their beautiful city, in which they built up, with a team that can’t even make it past the second round. It’s time for Steve Balmer and the Clipper organization to do themselves a favor…get the hell out of Los Angeles and any of its subsidiaries.
Yes, that includes Inglewood, and their new and improved Forum. The purple and gold have worked so diligently to make the city what it is and to think the Clippers can come in and try to erase the history is a huge slap in the face. It’s time that they get slapped right back…right back down to San Diego where they came from. They can keep the colors if they choose, however it’s time to pack up your bags. You are unworthy of playing in the city of angels. In a city where legends are made and represented by 16 championships. This petition serves as the beginning of the end for the Los Angeles Clippers. Soon to be the San Diego Clippers! Please cast your vote and let your grievances be heard worldwide!”
