Brandon Ingram has many potential buyers in the NBA. Unfortunately, all those hopes seem to have taken a temporary backseat after the New Orleans Pelicans star picked up a gruesome injury. While the Pelicans lost 109-119 to the Oklahoma City Thunder, things became more somber for New Orleans due to their star player’s injury.
Ingram injured his left ankle with just 17 seconds on the clock in the second quarter. He was seen clutching his ankle and looked to be in some severe pain. Shortly after, the star player of the Pelicans was ruled out of the game. The injury occurred after Ingram attempted a jump shot over the Thunder defense. While coming down, the 27-year-old landed on Thunder’s Lu Dort’s feet. Such a botch led to his ankles getting rolled.
