If the New York Knicks want to see Anthony Davis wearing their uniform next season, they’re going to have to pay a hefty price for him.
We already knew that the New Orleans Pelicans would demand quite a bit in a trade for Davis, but what they’re reportedly asking the Knicks for in exchange for the All-Star center is just straight up ludicrous.
Nothing against Davis. His resume speaks for itself. But do the Pelicans really think they’re going to get Zion Williamson (if they get him), Kevin Knox, Frank Ntilikina, AND two first-rounder picks for AD? It’s pretty hard to imagine the Knicks throwing away that many future assets for one player. (Although, this is the Knicks we’re talking about.)
Nevertheless, that is what’s being reported by the NY Post:
Unless the Pelicans are willing to budge on their asking price, it doesn’t appear as though Anthony Davis will be playing in the Big Apple anytime soon.
