Last night, the New Orleans Pelicans got their first look at Zion Williamson when he made his NBA Summer League debut…
And just like that, it’ll also be the last look we get at the number one overall pick for a while.
According to the latest update from the Pelicans, Zion will be sidelined for the remainder of the Summer League as a result of a bruised left knee he suffered against the New York Knicks on Friday. The good news, however, is that the injury is not expected to have any sort of effect on Williamson going forward. It’s said to be just a precautionary move by New Orleans.
