Irrespective of the situation, one can never get the game out of an athlete’s veins. This was exactly the case when Payton Pritchard’s wife captured a heartfelt moment on the streets. Enjoying a 3-0 run in the NBA, the Celtics’ star Pritchard decided to have some family time with his newly married wife, Emma MacDonald.
The couple was enjoying a leisurely walk along with their dogs when Pritchard’s eyes caught something. When the NBA athlete saw a hoop, he could not control his urge not to fiddle with it. In the video shared by MacDonald on her Instagram, Pritchard could be seen playing a 1v1 matchup against a kid. Uploading the wholesome moment, MacDonald captioned her story by saying, “We took our dog to the park and I turn around and find him here.”
Well, this was one of many feel-good moments for the couple, who tied the knot just recently. The duo got married back in August at the scenic location of Harwich Port, Mass. Pritchard and MacDonald kept a ‘New England Coastal’ aesthetic as several well-known stars attended the event. Pritchard had most of his Celtics teammates come down, except the ones who were busy for the Olympics.
Interestingly, their wedding was officiated by the former NBA star, Blake Griffin. Now, with Pritchard enjoying quite a healthy off-court life, his antics on the court are also quite impressive. Looking for a consecutive NBA triumph, Pritchard and his team have been looking ever-dominant.
Payton Pritchard Eyes NBA Double Championship Win
Having already tasted how an NBA championship feels like, Pritchard is looking to double the joy this year. The point guard and his team made a stupendous start to the season by seeing off the New York Knicks. Led by some brilliant offensive execution, the Boston Celtics were able to nullify the Karl Anthony-Towns threat. However, Pritchard did not have a memorable outing. He just managed 3 points from his 25 minutes on the court.

However, the 26-year-old showed immediate improvement as he dropped 15 points against the Wizards. Interestingly, the Warriors’ legend, Draymond Green, has also spoken in the Boston Celtics’ favor recently. Thus, with things looking upbeat, it now remains to be seen how Payton Pritchard and his team can keep up the tempo in the season ahead.
